Greenville’s educational report card gets better every year!

Our community leaders are passionately committed to investing in educational resources from preschool to grad school. We have innovative programs for children at all grade-levels, including the Health Sciences Academy, the Shelton Leadership Challenge at ECU, and the ECU Innovators Academy for 6th and 7th graders.

Higher Education

  • East Carolina University (ECU) offers 102 undergraduate and 101 graduate degree programs.
  • Pitt Community College has a wide range of business/industrial curricula and training programs.
  • ECU service and research centers assist business and industry in boosting production, business management, and developing market strategies. 
  • ECU offers a Bachelor of Science of Engineering with six areas of concentration to include Biomedical, Bioprocessing, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, and Mechanical.
